The Role of a Licensed Psychologist

As a psychologist with us, you will work with assessment, investigation, and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. The work takes place in interdisciplinary teams that include psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists. The work also involves collaboration with other healthcare providers and services.

The working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday, and the position is a permanent employment.

Your Future Workplace

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a regional clinic that has a common unit, One Path In (EVI), for telephone advice and triage to child and adolescent health and psychiatry.

The clinic has three outpatient clinics: in Nässjö, Värnamo, and Jönköping. These provide specialized care to children and young people with mental health issues in 13 municipalities. The clinic also has a common care department located in Jönköping that provides inpatient care, as well as an anorexia unit for outpatient and day care.

At the clinic in Jönköping, we have two broad child psychiatric teams that meet children and adolescents aged 0-17 years and their guardians.

Your Profile

To apply for the position, you must have a degree in psychology with completed PTP and obtained license. Good knowledge of Swedish in writing and speaking is required for the role. Experience working with children and adolescents, as well as CBT, is an advantage.
